The Hartman Trail Tram

Picture
Students from River Hills School in Cedar Falls, enjoying a beautiful day at Hartman Reserve!
Take the trail tram through scenic Hartman Reserve. We will take you on a one hour trip through prairies, lakes, and forest. We can accommodate up to 20 people.  A naturalist will guide you through the park and teach about the interesting natural history of the area.

We usually meet groups at the Hartman boat ramp, then travel the trails for one hour. We then return to the boat ramp.   It is fine to bring snacks and other refreshments along. We never travel over 5 mph, but a breeze along with the shade can be chilly, so it may be useful to bring a jacket.

The trams are also available for rent. You can often see them appearing at many festivals and parades. You may have seen us at Sturgis Falls Celebration, Panic Park Haunted House, La Porte City Parade, or the Waverly Parade.

To schedule a Tram ride or to rent them, please contact Katie at kklus@co.black-hawk.ia.us or by calling 319-277-2187.
