2nd SUNDAY SPEAKER SERIES
Each 2nd Sunday of the month at 2:00 PM, we present a speaker on a topic related to nature. Presently these programs will be online as a recorded presentation or live recording. Check back periodically for the growing list of presenters and topics. You'll enjoy topics such as woodland turtles, building backyard ponds and pollinator gardens, diatoms, Road Scholars, and more!
The public program showcases the experiences and knowledge of various individuals and organizations around the Cedar Valley on topics related to nature. Each presentation begins at 2:00 PM on the 2nd Sunday of each month. If a major holiday lands on the 2nd Sunday, the Series will be delayed until the following Sunday. There’s no need to register and there’s no cost; however, occasionally there may be a special event that does require a fee and that would be advertised in advance.

Many resources are listed on the website and in the video. In this presentation, Doug's presentation starts at about 5-1/2 minutes in, after the introduction.
