March 10-12th, 2023
The Maple Syrup Festival is an annual community event celebrates the sugar maple trees at Hartman Reserve. Attendees enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes with maple syrup, sausage, Sidecar coffee, and Hansen's Dairy products, and learn how Conservation staff make maple syrup. Raffle prizes this year include a kayak package from CrawDaddy Outdoors and a bike package from Bike Tech.

This event is “Reservations Only.” Reservation prices are Adults: $10, Youth 3 - 15 years old: $5, and no cost for children 2 years old and under. Visit www.BlackHawkCountyParks.com under the Events menu to see complete details, available timeframes for seating, and to make reservations. A reservation means very little (if any) waiting in line and plenty of time to enjoy the pancake meal. Paper tickets will not be sold in advance or at the door, and no walk-ins will be accepted. Guests can be seated only at the time for which reservations were made. Sorry, no refunds can be issued as this is a fundraiser. All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit environmental education, recreational programs, and natural resource management of Black Hawk County parks.

The main entrance and parking lot for the event is located at 657 Reserve Dr. in Cedar Falls (no shuttle). Please call 319-277-2187 with any questions.
This event could not be possible without all of our sponsors.
