Looking for a family friendly holiday activity? Join us at Hartman Reserve for Woodland Wonderland - holiday-inspired family activities, live reindeer, photo opportunities, and more! This event is held annually on the 1st and 2nd Saturdays of December.
Cost: Adults: $9.00; Children: $6.00; 1 and Under are free.

Program Policies: All registrations must be done online and no walk-ins will be accepted. If you need assistance in registering for programs online, please call the nature center 319-277-2187 and we will help you.
Refund Policy: Refunds will only be given in the case of a documented medical emergency or funeral for programs more than $10. If program cost is under $10, a program voucher will be offered for a future program. If a program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, then a similar program will be offered in its place.
Accessibility: For this event, participants will be required to park in the upper parking lot, which is approximately 220 yards from the Nature Center and requires the ability to walk on an incline/decline. The sidewalk is paved. Anyone with mobility issues is encouraged to speak with our staff at the beginning of the sidewalk so that accommodations can be made. The Nature Center has a functioning elevator and an all-gendered restroom. We do not have wheelchairs or booster seats available. All outdoor exhibits are accessible by a paved sidewalk. Be advised that there will be flashing lights and a larger crowd of people in each timeslot.
