Oh, well hello there! My name is Cletus, and I am a yellow bellied sap sucker. Although my family are cavity nesters that live in the holes in trees, I live here in this small house by the sugar bush. The sap from the maple trees is a part of my diet. Here at Hartman, we tap the trees to help to make maple syrup in the early spring. Hey, while you’re out, keep an eye out for maple trees, so I can add it to my places to eat!
